One of our favorite things about being part of the Newsome PTSA is the opportunity to show our teachers how much they mean to us. Through dinners for conference night and things like our monthly appreciation gifts, we have a chance to give back just a little to those who give so much to our kids and our community.
The January gift bags were supplied by our sponsor, Grade Power Learning and our PTSA parents who donated the hand sanitizers and the tissues. This was the perfect timing to battle the cold and flu season. We are also grateful to La Septima Restaurant, who provided the delicious chicken and yellow rice for our Parent Teacher Conference Night. A number of parents also supplied side dishes and, judging by how quickly they disappeared, the teachers loved them.
We appreciate everyone who helped with these events. We also especially appreciate our Newsome teachers and staff!
