Chorus T-Shirt Fundraiser: – Forms distributed in class on 9/18 (also available on website and Edsby) – Money and forms due on 10/2 by 3:30pm – Profits from the sale go directly to individual student accounts.
ACDA (American Choral Director’s Association) Honor Choir Auditions – Information distributed in class on 8/31 (also still available in class) – Audition recordings rescheduled for 9/20 from 3-5 in the chorus room – Links to audition info: – High school honor choir • http://www.flacda.org/wp-
Candlelight Audition – The recording session has been rescheduled for 9/21 from 3-4pm – Our audition will be the first 27 measures of “What Child is This” – This event is not mandatory but is required if you wish to attend Candlelight.
All State Testing – The deadline to register for this event has passed – Musicianship test rescheduled for 9/25 at 4pm at Chamberlain High School – The vocal quality exam has been rescheduled for 10/23 at 4pm at Chamberlain High School.
Newsome’s Got Talent – Rescheduled for Thursday 9/28 at 6:30pm in the auditorium – Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. Additional votes can be cast by placing additional funds in your favorite contestant’s voting box. $1 = 1 vote. This is a fundraiser for the choir program and all funds raised will go to support the students in the choir.
Fall Concert – October 4th at 6:30pm (this date has not been changed) – Students will arrive dressed in concert attire by 5:45pm – A letter with further details will be distributed by 9/21 (also made available in email, Edsby and the website).
